The Schwalbe AV17 butyl tube is slightly heavier than a classic rubber tube, but it is more heat-resistant, very stable under air pressure and slightly cheaper. Schwalbe can guarantee an even more uniform wall thickness at a low weight thanks to vulcanization in a mould. The hose with auto-valve and high-pressure-stable valve seal is ideal for a wide range of applications.
