The Birkenstock Arizona EVA (narrow version) for women's feet remain true to the Birkenstock ideals and have an anatomically shaped and cushioning footbed as well as a non-slip outsole. However, they are not made of cork and leather, but entirely of ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer or EVA. The advantage of this skin-friendly, light plastic is that it is waterproof and easy to wash off.
