The Minima from Aku focuses on a minimalist exterior and, above all, a minimal impact on the environment through the activity of zero-impact leather: the leather has been tanned in an environmentally friendly way without chrome and heavy metals, leather waste is reduced by reusing it in various product components, and the CO2 emissions generated during production are offset by supporting the UN's climate neutrality initiatives (UNFCCC). Otherwise, the shoe also has a zero-impact leather footbed, a cushioning midsole made partly from recycled EVA and cork, a grippy Vibram sole and classic lacing with leather laces.
