Scout 11 ML Stopper 90

The Scout 11 works like an alpine binding. Accordingly, it offers easy entry (without the precise beginners' step required with a pin binding type) and is child's play to use. The safety release also works like an alpine binding.

At 790 grams (without stoppers), the Scout 11 is almost as light as a heavy pin binding type. You will certainly notice the extra grams and the less efficient pivot point on the ascent, but on the descent it still scores points with its high stability and elasticity as well as safe release.

On the Scout 11, the shoe is held at the front and rear with jaws that are connected to each other on a frame (Safety Alubar System). As with an alpine binding, the side release is at the front and the front release at the rear.

Crampons can simply be clicked into place and folded upwards when not needed (but be careful, they must be removed on the descent, otherwise the sideways release will no longer work).

Even if some consider this type of binding to be outdated, we still want to offer it. There are many ski tourers who have trusted this type of binding for decades, because the Scout 11 has proven its worth.
